Daily Brain Dump

Type or paste everything on your mind, sort each item into Do Today, Hand Off, Plan For or Let Go, and leave with a clear action list you can copy or print. Nothing you type leaves your device.

Your brain dump

  1. 1. Dump it
  2. 2. Sort it
  3. 3. Take it with you

1. What is on your mind?

Today’s verse

“To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven.”

Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV)

Good to know

  • Your list is saved on this device, so it is still here when you come back. Nothing you type is sent to us.
  • Tap a button to sort each task. On a computer, you can also drag a task by its handle into a box.
  • On a new day, the tool asks whether to start fresh or keep your list.
  • Hand Off and Plan For each have a small box for a name or a day, so your list reads like a real plan.
  • Use the arrows to put your most important Do Today items first.
  • Copy your list into your notes app or a message, or print it with a checkbox beside each Do Today item.

How the four boxes work

The two sorting questions come from a simple idea often called the Eisenhower matrix. It separates what is urgent from what is important, which are easy to mix up when everything feels pressing.

  • Do Today is for what needs to happen today and needs you. Keep this list short enough to finish.
  • Hand Off is for what needs to happen today, but someone else can do it. Ask your husband or an older child, and write their name beside it.
  • Plan For is for what matters but does not belong to today. Give it a day so it stops circling in your mind.
  • Let Go is for what does not need to happen at all, or not right now.

God’s Word says, “To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven” (Ecclesiastes 3:1, NKJV). A long list does not all belong to today, and an unfinished list is not a measure of your worth.

Common questions

Is the Daily Brain Dump free?

Yes. It is free to use, and you do not need to sign up with your email.

Where is my list saved?

Only in this browser on this device. Nothing you type is sent to us. If you clear your browser data or use a different device, the list will not be there.

Can I use it every day?

Yes. When you open it on a new day, it asks whether to start fresh or keep the list you had. Tick off your Do Today items as you finish them.

What should I do with the Let Go list?

Nothing at all. If something on it comes back to mind later, you can add it again.
