If you are at the point that you know you need to be more focused at home, this page is for you. I’ve been a full-time homemaker for 24 years and counting. My mom trained me well and I’ve put all I’ve learned into practice.
I mentioned that you’re a focused homemaker too. And you are. You are here on this site. That alone tells me that in your heart you have the desire for focus and peace at home. You want orderly surroundings, organized belongings and a haven from the storms of the outside world. You want to please your husband, honor the LORD, and teach your children well. You have the vision for Biblical homemaking but still struggle with making it a reality on most days.
You may not think of yourself as a focused homemaker, but it’s a desire of your heart.
Homemaking is one of those things that seems to come naturally for some people, but can be a major struggle for others. It’s the 24/7, lowest paying career of all time, yet if done correctly, it can yield more satisfaction and fulfillment than most other careers.
But how, you ask, can you do homemaking the right way when you never learned?
I know. It’s seems to be kind of a catch 22. No training, and now with a home, husband and children, you have little time to devote to education. Fear not though, there is hope!
This blog is my gift to you. And this page will help you navigate this site, point you to helpful resources and suggest relevant posts.

Resources for Homemakers
Homemaking 101 covers the basics in homemaking, teaching practical skills and offering a good helping of Biblical encouragement.
Homemaking 201 offers more instruction and encouragement and is less basic, yet still helpful to homemakers in any stage of homemaking.
You can purchase both, or either for $15.95 each or $25.95 together by clicking on the video cover images to the right.
I also have a course that teaches Christian women what productive day-to-day homemaking looks like and how to practice it daily in their own homes. Go HERE for more details.
The Focused Homemaking Course is foundation and Biblical training for homemakers who desire to learn how to achieve and maintain joyful productivity.
